ANCC PTAP offers three accredited transition programs.

 

  • RN Residencies — For nurses with less than 12 months’ experience
  • RN Fellowships — For experienced nurses to master new clinical settings
  • APRN Fellowships — For newly certified advanced practice nurses

Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Credits and Certificates

PTAP Symposium Outcomes/Goals:

  • Explore Transition to Practice (TTP) Programs best practices to determine current state. 
  • Translate knowledge gained into strategies for implementing best practice in TTP.

CNE Credit:
Attendees of the 2022 PTAP Symposium may earn up to 14.25 CNE credits.

To Receive CNE Credit you must:

  • Be registered as a participant and attend the entire session.
  • Access the 2022 PTAP Symposium CNE online system to complete a short survey at the end of each session, poster review, and attend/view the Q & A poster session no later than June 15, 2022 to obtain CNE certificates. See program for log-in instructions.      
  • Print and/or save certificate(s). (Note: Fees apply once the above deadline has passed.)

How to Obtain CNE Certificate:

  1. Go to website: CNE Online System link (website link available at the start of the event)
  2. Login using:
    1. First Name 
    2. Last Name 
    3. Email address as in your registration record 
  3. A new window will appear to complete a short survey about the sessions attended, per day.  
  4. Once sessions are evaluated, click Continue to Certificate’ button at the bottom of the page 
  5. Attendee has the option to:
    1. Click on certificate and print immediately 
    2. Email it to themselves for print later

How to Claim CNE Credit After the Deadline:
Beginning on June 16, 2022, CNE certificates must be obtained from the American Nurses Association (ANA). Please mail a written request including your name, address, email address, conference name, and list of session dates and titles you attended with a check for $50 payable to ANA for each certificate requested. Send your written request and check to: ANA, P.O. Box 504410, St. Louis, MO 63150-4410. Allow four to six weeks for delivery. 

Accreditation Statement
The American Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.  

ANA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP17219.
