Kathy Casey, PhD, RN, NPD-BC is a Professional Development Specialist at Denver Health, in Denver, Colorado. Kathy coordinates the Graduate Nurse Residency Program, which focuses on supporting and retaining newly graduated nurses as they transition into professional nursing practice. She is adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado, College of Nursing and Colorado Christian University, School of Nursing. Her research endeavors include the development and testing of the Casey-Fink Graduate Nurse Experience Survey, an instrument designed to measure graduate nurse transition into practice. In addition, she co-developed the Casey-Fink Readiness for Practice Survey and the Casey-Fink Nurse Retention Survey. These surveys have been used both nationally and internationally. She has published her findings in peer reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences.

Kathy is a member of the Association for Nurses in Professional Development and Sigma Theta Tau. She received her BSN from Pacific Lutheran University, her MSN from the University of Colorado, College of Nursing, and her PhD in Nursing Education from the University of Northern Colorado, School of Nursing.

Meghan Bachman is a certified Holistic Health Coach, personal development speaker, and founder of Bach&Forth LLC. Through her work, she helps guide individuals to clarity around their life goals, provides tools for mindset mastery, and ensures forward motion through the power of habit building and accountability.
