We all depend on nurses, and our nurses are depending on you.
Nurses are a crucial part of our health care system. We all depend on nurses at some point in our lives. They get us through some of our most difficult moments, helping us heal, monitoring our well-being, and simply listening and compassionately caring.

ABOUT THE AMERICAN NURSES FOUNDATION

As the philanthropic arm of the American Nurses Association (ANA), our mission is to transform the nation’s health through the power of nursing. This is more relevant today than ever. With the future of health care changing so dramatically, nurses can revolutionize the approach to care for the better. The Foundation pursues this mission through:

  • Elevating the value of nursing;
  • Improving nurses’ health;
  • Strengthening leadership skills and opportunities for nurses; and
  • Generating new knowledge and policy.

Every day, the Foundation helps nurses achieve their goals and supports nurse-led research on issues that affect the profession and public health overall. We invest in the well-being and success of individual nurses while championing the value and voice of nursing throughout health care.
